    Tommy may seem harmless at first glance, but Phil and Techno know otherwise. To be a gemsmith, a person who connects soulmates, is not a profession for those who are docile.

    But Tommy is intriguing at first glance. Always talking, always moving, always challenging them. So they stick around. Not too long though, they have two other soulmates to find, but long enough to develop their relationship beyond customer and shopkeeper.

    If only they realized why they were developing this relationship in the first place before the Hunters came knocking on Tommy’s shop.

    Peter places his hands on the ground before him, then crouches and presses his lips to the King’s boot, lavishing the leather and working his way up. A hand settles approvingly on his head, scratching lightly through his hair, and he can’t help but push into it. Letting out a small puff of breath, he says timidly, “Thank you for choosing me, Your Grace.”

    There’s a small pause, and then the grip on his hair tightens to coax his head up. He obeys, eyes flicking to the King’s face. They hold gazes for a few seconds, before the King says, “Make me proud, sweetheart.”

    Peter adjusts to his new life as King Stark's prized pet.
