Peter was still covered in blood from a previous operation (fuck Ms. Fisk for making him overtime). Then again, it was dark and his whole outfit was a solid dark red and blue. Peter hoped Daredevil wouldn't notice.
Daredevil kind of just stood there staring him for an uncomfortable amount of time, just sort of staring through him.

"You work for Fisk?" Daredevil blurted.

In return, I break my bonds with the League and pledge my fealty to your service.” The formal, rehearsed words are at odds with his young age.
