In Nottingham, there lives a perfectly respectable family.
Loki Odinson is an eccentric but beloved professor of cosmology at the University of Nottingham. His wife, Sylvie, works as a consultant. They have two children, Ellie and Flox. The neighbours have known them since 2012, when the professor arrived in Britain after an accident that left his memory a blank slate. Within months, he had taken the academic world by storm after introducing his theory of the Multiverse.
Nothing unusual at all.
Except that Professor Loki seems to know suspiciously much about the universe. His brother looks like a Norse god who wandered out of a saga. And his wife's colleague, Mobius, is such an ordinary man that it begins to feel suspicious.
If the neighbours knew the whole story...
After all, this family could not possibly have anything to do with the Loki of Asgard, who attacked New York in 2012.Loki has been granted a second life - a quiet, domestic existence in Nottingham. But the past keeps finding him: the TVA, old enemies, Asgard, and the part of himself left behind. Yet the heart of this story lies elsewhere. The greatest adventure is not a journey across the world, but the act of becoming whole.
