Summary
Corlys gestured to the sellsword. "Remove your helm and give us your name. I'd like to properly thank the person responsible for saving my heir tonight."
All eyes were on the sellsword. Lucerys's as well. His breath was short and he was trembling in the same way he had when he nearly fell off the ledge tonight.
A low humming sound came from the sellsword. He lifted his hands, moving too slowly in Lucerys's opinion, and lifted the helm from his head an inch at a time.
Lucerys knew. As soon as he saw the scar emerge on the sellsword's cheek. He knew when the sapphire gem was revealed, cool and deadly, to make a pair with the lavender eye staring straight at Lucerys. He knew when the helm was fully off and long silver hair tumbled down the sellsword’s shoulders.
Aemond Targaryen stood in front of the Driftwood Throne. Lucerys’s savior.

Summary
"I will let you bewitch me," Aemond murmured, his voice broken by surrender. "Drag me to your most sacrilegious desires, consume my sanity in this profane adoration. Do with me what you will, because there is no hell that could be worse than the absence of your skin."
Lucerys, with a slowness that took one’s breath away, leaned in to seal the pact with a kiss that tasted of ash and desire. His hands, cold and firm, took Aemond’s and guided them over his own body, a map that Aemond memorized with the anxiety of a castaway. The prince smiled, a grimace of absolute triumph before the specter’s surrender.
Or...
Driven to madness at Harrenhal, Aemond calls for the boy he murdered, only to summon something darker from the abyss. The specter is no longer the Lucerys he knew. Yet, Aemond clings to this profane ritual, choosing any nightmare over the void of Lucerys’s absence.

Summary
“Prince Aemond Targaryen arrives on the morrow.”
Luke blinked. “On the morrow?”
Cregan nodded.
“From King’s Landing?” he asked.
“Presumably.”
Luke tilted his head. “That journey takes weeks.”
“On dragonback,” Cregan clarified.
OR
Luke Rivers has spent his life believing he belonged nowhere: a southern bastard raised in Winterfell, useful but unclaimed. He thought himself exempt from the North’s oldest customs and invisible to the princes of the South. The Mating Run proves the first belief wrong.
Aemond Targaryen proves the second.

Summary
“What’s happening?” Luke whispers, turning his brown eyes back on Aemond. They are nearly black. His cat’s tail curls around his neck like a scarf.
Aemond swallows, left hand reaching out, Vhagar’s furred head bumping against it. She settles against his side, and it is muscle memory that allows him to take up her lead, wrapping it once, twice around his hand. “Daeron says it’s the end of the world.”
Luke swallows visibly, Adam’s apple bobbing. Aemond can’t tear his gaze from it. “And out there?”
The smile Aemond gives him isn’t nice. “That’s what comes after.”
Aemond and Luke's road trip through the apocalypse.
