Summary
There was something they weren’t telling him. It wasn’t inconsequential, either, like the Colonel not telling him about an upcoming meeting or Al conveniently forgetting to tell him about the thirteenth kitten in his armour.
No, this was something distinctly different.OR
Ed gets injured on what was supposed to be a routine mission, but nobody's telling him anything, and people are being a little *too* kind to him. As he navigates his recovery- and discovering what happened- he might find something he's had all along: family.

Summary
The other teachers at Roy Mustang's school think Edward Elric is trouble -- a foster kid who gets in fights and is flunking most of his classes. But when Ed starts hanging around the chemistry lab after school, Roy sees another side of the story. And the more he finds out about Ed's homelife, the more he can't stop himself from getting involved. Someone's got to look out for the kid.
Modern Foster AU feat. traumatized teens and equally traumatized (but trying) parent figures.

Summary
The men pulled, and something came free- with a splash and a clank, something metal fell out of the end of the pipe and landed in the drainage ditch at their feet.
It was about three feet long, and made of metal.
“What the fuck is that?” one of the men on the line asked, voice hushed.
One of them picked it up- it was an arm, an automail arm- not attached to anything, only the rope still firmly tied around the wrist.
Roy felt nausea bubble up in him like regret, and turned to the nearest soldier.
“Get me a damn light- I’m going in after him!”
Something was terribly wrong.
Edward Elric tries to avoid giving his report and do a good deed. Roy Mustang tries to avoid pondering his role in Edward's life. Both fail miserably. And it's all because of the damn rain.
A slow burn of excitement, angst, drama, trauma, hurt/comfort, and found family. Maybe in that order.

Summary
What if Janie Smalls tried killing herself and Seth overdosed? What if Wymack had been there for another instead of Neil? Then after learning of Seth’s overdose he had to quickly get a striker and Neil was available?
Or
An au where Neil is a lot more badass. He has accepted death and has a screw it who cares rather than a need to live before he dies attitude. Neil is taken in by Renee instead of Andrew and since Seth is dead Allison is already recovering. Also he is severely underestimated by everyone and we will see how that ends up going.
