Dream forced himself to look around and froze when he blurrily saw who was holding him. Sapnaps eyes were shiny with unshed tears, a mix of anger and frustrated sorrow on his face. George was also leaning over him, his dark goggles pushed up on his forehead.
"Hey," Dream whispered.
Sapnap scowled. "What the hell is going on? Why do you look like this? How did you escape?"
"Sapnap," George murmured wetly, and Dream wasn't sure why.
Dream sighed, letting go of any stiffness and slumping against Sapnap.
"I wanted to see the sky," he murmured, his eyes flicking past them to the tapestry of stars above them. Why did he ever think he could live without seeing them?
