Summary
“You dressed up for me, didn’t you?”
The prince flushed instantly—cheeks warm, ears turning red beneath the fall of gold in his hair.
“I—I did not,” he managed, far too quickly.
The stranger froze.
Only for a blink. A breath.
And then—He howled. A laugh tore from his chest—loud and wild. Not the sly little chuckle he usually exhaled, but something full-bodied and absolutely delighted.
“You—you actually did!” he gasped, clutching his stomach as if the absurdity physically hurt him. “Oh, witches, I was only teasing! I didn’t think—oh, you dumb, dumb prince!”
Pure Vanilla, still very much crimson-faced, crossed his arms lightly, trying—and failing—not to let the corner of his mouth twitch.
“I did not dress up for you,” he repeated, softer this time.
The thief wiped the corner of his eye, breath hitching between the remains of his laughter. “Oh, please, don’t lie to me now, little prince. I’m already touched.” He sat up straighter, juggling his half-eaten apple as if he was a jester in mid act. “You waltzed into the woods looking almost like a bride, I mean! Witches! You’ve got enough metal on you to ransom a kingdom!"

Summary
A touch.
A whisper of contact, feather-light and devastating, across the base of his tail.
Shadow Milk went rigid.
“What the hell are you doing!?” he barked, face blooming with mortified heat.
But Pure Vanilla didn’t flinch. He merely tilted his head, brows lifting in a way that was maddeningly serene.
“I’ve always been curious,” he said, as though commenting on a flavor of tea he’d yet to try. “Your tail looks so soft. I’ve wondered for ages if it felt as luxurious as it seemed…”
As he spoke, his fingers moved again.
Slowly.
Purposefully.
He placed one hand gently at the very base of Shadow Milk’s tail—where the fur was thickest, where it anchored into the curve of his lower spine—and ran his palm in a single, smooth motion all the way to the tip.
The effect was immediate.
Shadow Milk shuddered.
A full-bodied, involuntary tremor worked its way through him, starting in his shoulders and radiating out like a struck tuning fork. His breath caught. Not in surprise this time. Not even in panic.
Something else.
Something hot.
“You’re trembling,” Pure Vanilla murmured, sounding utterly fascinated. “Does it tickle?”
“It—No!”

Shen Qingqiu has been married to Luo Binghe for two years. For two years, Liu Qingge has watched the relationship between Shen Qingqiu and Luo Binghe morph from something intense and passionate to something more tempered.
That isn’t to say that Luo Binghe is any less in love with Shen Qingqiu than the day they were wed, and that isn’t to say that Shen Qingqiu is any less head-over-heels for his demon husband; quite the opposite. Liu Qingge can testify that they are still disgustingly in love with each other. After all, he has witnessed it first hand.
Liu Qingge is the newest addition to their marriage. Okay. So. He’s not married to them. But they’re engaged. Sort of. It’s… complicated.

Summary
Pure Vanilla was the most annoying, most aggravating, most foolish cookie Shadow Milk had ever met.
It would be expected that, after such a statement, some may wonder what Pure Vanilla did. Was he acting rude, or selfish, or cruel?
No! In fact, it was worse than all three of those things combined!
Pure Vanilla was too gentle. And Shadow Milk was tired of it.
OR 5 times Shadow Milk tries and fails to get Pure Vanilla to rail him properly, and the 1 time he succeeds.
