It's hot, Neil likes popsicles and he keeps enjoying them, maybe a little too much in front of Andrew. Andrew on the other hand, HATES them, until he doesn't. And then suddenly, he discovers something about himself that Neil had realised before he had and OK maybe they aren't that bad. Turns out they can pretty fun if enjoyed in certain ways anyway. And Neil is determined to show him exactly the right way to enjoy those icy horrors.

AFTG Summer Day 1- August 3rd Hot Day: Calidity ~

“It's too hot Drew,” Neil snaps out, icy blue peeking from beneath that arm to look over at him. Andrew would say it's a glare, except Neil looks more pathetic than anything.
“I know,” he grinds out, because what the hell is he supposed to do about it? The AC unit in their beach house is currently not working, so short of plying the red head with more of their rapidly dwindling supply of ice, there's not much he can do. He's dying here too, and the open window isn't helping at all, even when the occasional breeze flows past.
Absently, he reaches out and shoves Neil's arm out of the way and replaces it with his hand. Lazily he rolls onto his side, hazel eyes trailing over Neil's almost naked form before he lifts his gaze back to his face. He sweeps Neil's tangle of auburn curls off his forehead, away from the sweat that's starting to coat them both like a second skin and hums.
“I know,” he says again.

Summary
Neil scans his face, frowning as if he’s trying to remember. Andrew remembers, of course. Hushed, almost embarrassed whispers in bed once everyone else is gone and Kevin’s gentle snores assure them that he’s out like a light. Neil telling him how much he likes it when Andrew touches him in public. How sometimes he imagines he could do more. Ask Andrew to grope him. Lick his neck. Get him off. In places they could get caught. Risky places. Places people could see.
The pink flush high on Neil’s cheeks, visible even in the dark, told Andrew that this was a fantasy. A daydream. A want.
Or: Neil gets feral and protective at Eden's. Andrew finds it hot and shows his appreciation on the dance floor.

Andrew does not believe in soulmates. Nicky has a soulmate. His twin Aaron has a soulmate too, but Andrew doesn't let them speak.
Everyone around him has a soulmate. They can all see in color. He can't. He doesn't believe in soulmates, doesn't believe in love at all. When enough people tell you what love should look like, when you're told enough times that you should be able to see in color but you can't, you start to believe that you don't have a soulmate after all. And that's okay.
At least, it was, until Andrew makes eye contact with a stranger at Eden's and the world comes to a screeching halt.

Soulmate au where you can't see in color until you lock eyes with your soulmate. Additionally, if your soulmate dies, your vision goes back to monochrome.
