You got to see the sunrise. It didn’t dawn – HAH! – on me until embarrassingly early that you’ve probably never seen one before.
It was worth staying up all night to see you see it. I saw your eyes widen and then squint into the light. Saw the pink and orange and how the colors reflected over your face. You looked so…not happy, maybe, but stunned? Enchanted, maybe? (You’d kill me for saying that, I think.)
See? The world can be beautiful. I’m glad I got to watch you realize it.

He found himself relaxing every time he could spot the mop of greasy brown locks among the survivors of each mission. He even went as far as subtly scanning the area every now and then while on expeditions to make sure they haven’t been eaten yet. And it wasn’t as if he didn’t know they were capable of handling themselves… Well, they were able to do so most of the time, but his concern wasn’t unfounded.

Summary
Hanji loves rainy days like these. The atmosphere was relaxing, which was a nice change from the otherwise hectic routine at the Survey Corps. A cold breeze met their face, and they leaned on the windowsill studying the possible candidates for a partner in crime.
They were sure Levi would rather eat whatever sample they had at the lab than put a foot in muddy ground. Still, out of all of the options, he was the best bet.

~A short fic based on a conversation I had with Castryn about Levi being tired of being in control all the time. So, Hange takes over, but not in a way he was expecting.~
Levi’s brow raised. “As if there’s anyone else qualified to handle them. Besides, four-eyes, Jaeger is my responsibility,” he waved his hand, brushing off their question.
“That’s not what I mean,” they rolled their eyes. “You’re always taking charge. What if…” they shifted, straddling his hips. Now staring down at him, they smiled. “What if you didn’t have to worry about being in charge for a while?”
