One fateful day, Luca Haas runs into a cute guy in a record store and is gifted several CDs by him. Said cute guy used to be the lead guitarist of a quite popular band and is currently building a solo career. Said cute guy also has no idea who Luca is. They begin to text, and texting eventually blooms into friendship and then, over a series of away games and off days and concerts, something more begins to grow.

He just had to focus on hockey, his confidence, being social, not being so awkward, not giving up through every conversation he has-
Yuri Savitsky is trying to find a life in North America, knowing Russia was permanently in the past for him. He is starting his first year with the Ottawa Centaurs and he most definitely does NOT hate Ilya Rozanov. He just wants to play hockey and, maybe, one day, be happy again. It would be easier if people stopped worrying about his life outside of hockey.
Would one night mess up their growing friendship?

Summary
Luca Haas is just one of many MHL prospects trying to make his way into the show. He can feel the eyes of his captain and childhood idol - the Ilya Rozanoz - on his back the entire way forward and tries not to listen to the voice asking if he measures up. He just wants to play hockey.
There's just this one voice, outside of his head this time, that's making it difficult. Another prospect, a potential future teammate, one that's rambunctious, loud and painfully pretty when he smiles. Aiden Young. He’s the sort of person that pulls Luca's brain away from the ice and its expectations and drags him into having fun.
He's a distraction and by God does Luca want.
