    最开始疑神疑鬼占了上风，他轻轻踢了那束花一脚，等着它们爆炸。它们没有。花束里还有一张卡片，他把卡片捡起来。卡片上面是一副雅致的相片，日落时分的布鲁克林大桥，非常美好又平淡，就像你会买来送给你老板的那种。卡片里面有人用大大的颤抖的印刷体写道：

    对不起我开枪打了你。

    史蒂夫重重地坐在了台阶上。
