It's easy to be The Fourth Gen It Boy, The Big Hit Legendary Trainee, The Choi Yeonjun, when you aren't. When the recognition and praise outweighs the pressure and opportunity to fail.
Yeonjun just wants to keep being someone who can make people proud. Someone who his members can be proud to know and to be with. Make MOA proud. But the problem with being at the top, the very top, is there's no where else to go but to fall. Crash. Burn.

The ice has been Sokka's life for as long as he can remember. Learning to skate at his family's rink preceded learning to walk. The rink has been his safe place through everything; an ADHD diagnoses, an injury in his favorite sport, the death of his mom and his first girlfriend, and a myriad of mental health issues stemming from all of those things. If only he didn't have to share it with the stuck up rich kid that just moved into town. The rink needs the money Zuko's family brings in from renting it four days out of the week, but Sokka's not sure he can last dealing with the high demands of a professional figure skater.(Or: Zuko is a professional figure skater with expectations he can never live up to and Sokka is a college hockey player who really wishes the guy constantly getting on his nerves wasn't so gorgeous.)

Rescued, but imprisoned, Zuko finds himself no further from death on a water tribe ship. Sokka, the chief, would see him bleeding out on the boards of the deck as justice. He's a fire bender, the evil of the war that his father rages through their world. Zuko hasn't been a part of that war. Not for years. Now he's thrust back into it against his will, finding himself fighting on a side he never expected to be a part of. Maybe he'll find a cause worth fighting for; someone worth fighting for.

I don't think many others would light a lantern for you. Rerir," he continued, with the force of a name owned, "sleep."
