Summary
Was San sick? Wooyoung reached a hand around to feel his friend’s forehead. It was clammy, but there was no heat coming off of it, and none of San’s usual tells that he was coming down with something had been present during the day they’d spent together either. It likely wasn’t food poisoning, as they’d both eaten the same thing for dinner and Wooyoung felt fine. Alcohol poisoning? Wooyoung’s stomach dropped as the thought entered his mind. He didn’t feel like they’d drunk enough for that to be the case, but what other explanation could there possibly be for San being so horrifically sick all of the sudden?
OR
San learns his limits with alcohol the hard way, and scares the shit out of Wooyoung in the process.

Yeosang sighed, paying for his drink before heading out into the cold with coffee in hand. He would go back to his own apartment off the engineering campus, not to Wooyoung’s. He needed to draw a line in the sand before the tide rolled in and swept him away. He couldn’t keep inserting himself into Wooyoung’s life; it was against the rules and he knew it, but Wooyoung was addictive. One smile was all it took to reduce Yeosang to speechlessness. He had officially gone and done the one thing every Guardian was told not to do: fallen in love with his charge.

Seonghwa just stared down at his trembling hands, cursing his bad luck. Not only was he trapped, he was trapped with Hongjoong. He wondered how long his sanity would hold out; how long it would be before the shouting matches would start. It was inevitable. They were entirely incompatible.

Summary
Yunho is between writing gigs. His mother offers him a killer deal: move into the house she recently inherited and renovate it to sell. It'll bring in some money, if he can get the electricity to stop flickering. Or the heater to actually warm the place up. Or silence whatever is making that scratching noise in the walls.
Meanwhile, a small group of men in town have gotten bored enough to begin a project, one they don’t want folks in town to know about. It’s a dead town, people say, one that will disappear in another generation, since everyone who’s anyone moves away the first chance they get. These leftover boys, though, the ones that stayed - they think the “dead town” name has more to it. They think there are ghosts. And they are determined to prove it.
With a little luck, Yunho meets The Aurora Society for Paranormal Investigation. Before he knows it, his life gets tied in with all seven of theirs, and tied into the town itself. Will they ever catch proof? Who knows. But they’ll have each other to scream with along the way.

“I watched him die, Mingi.” Hongjoong says, definitive. He can feel tears burn at the edges of his eyes, old emotion thickening in his throat, but he keeps his voice as steady as he can manage. “I watched as they burnt him at the stake. He is dead. He has been dead for three hundred years.”
Yunho leans forward, hands landing on Hongjoong’s shoulders. He flinches back from them, hitting the backrest of the sofa harder than he means to. Phantom hands wrap around his wrists, press dirty uncut nails into his skin. Yunho powers on like he didn’t notice. The only indications he did are how he doesn’t try to reach out again and the tiny edge of hesitation to his words. “What if he isn’t?”

Summary
Regrettably, the first thing that Hongjoong noticed about him was that he was extremely gorgeous. It wasn’t uncommon for vampires to be pretty, Hongjoong guessed, it was about the same rate as humans, but this one stuck out. He was so beautiful it almost seemed fake, but he didn’t have any of the obvious trademarks of the beauty spells some people used. He was genuinely ethereal.
Hongjoong dug his nails into his palm briefly to keep from thinking about that for too long. He needed to keep his head on straight. Just because this vampire was attractive did not mean he’d be a good person, and Hongjoong wasn’t going to let himself be taken advantage of.
He cleared his throat as he got in range of the vampire, who looked up and gave Hongjoong a polite smile, tucking his phone into the small purse at his side. “Ah, you must be Hongjoong.”
“You must be Seonghwa.” Hongjoong said, a little surprised when the vampire stuck out a hand for a shake.
