After being tricked by Pure Vanilla Cookie, all he wanted to do was return what he had done to Shadow Milk tenfold. He wanted to see him suffer, to see him squirm. Just seeing him now was enough to make his jam boil.
He wanted to break him in every way possible.
And sure, even he could admit that he had some fun to himself during that time – that Pure Vanilla had become someone who he had potentially wanted to keep at his side. They were supposed to be partners in crime, two cookies of deceit together.
But, the idea of that had been crushed so-very-easily.

The first time that they're intimate, Truthless Recluse tells himself that it's nothing. He's curious, and nothing more. He had always thought of the Sage of Truth as someone attractive, charismatic, intelligent – and despite all of his best efforts, he finds himself drawn to him.
Not that he's alone, that is.
For Sage often keeps himself at a distance from Recluse, he's found. Whenever the mention of friendship came up, it would be waved off. Recluse was a companion to converse with, and nothing more.
