Summary
For more than two years, Tim Bradford and Lucy Chen have worked side by side without incident. Then one morning they wake up sharing something impossible, each other's pain. They have no idea why this connection exists, and they especially have no idea if its even something that they can control.
As they struggle to understand the connection between them, they try to carry on as partners, keeping the truth hidden from everyone around them. This proves very hard to do when Lucy is one of the clumsiest people that Tim knows.
But just as they begin to adapt to their new reality, the connection changes again, forcing them to confront questions that neither of them are ready answer.

Summary
Tim is in the doldrums, and grumpy to boot. His wife left him 16 months ago cleaning out their joint account.
Smitty has a passion, since his 6th divorce he has given up on having sex ( well unless it’s with his right hand) now he just likes watching, his favorite place to do this is a club on the other side of town.
It’s Smitty’s Birthday and he invites Angela Lopez and Tim Bradford out for a drink and entertainment, and Tim might be lonely enough to take him up on that especially if Lopez talks him into it.
Lucy Chen is sick of people telling her what to do. Not so much people as her parents. Sometimes she likes being told what to do, by the right person, in the right circumstances, but mapping out her life for her was not that. Add in a cheating boyfriend and her decision is made. She is joining the police academy. But she also craves sex, lots and lots of sex, it settles her overthinking mind, and what better place to get that sex but the new club in town, The Switch, a place she can be herself, whichever self she feels like being on any given night.
