Summary
Every so often, Will's dad blows into his life and drops another kid in his lap, claiming to be an unfit father. Which...yeah. He is. Lester abandoned him when he was a kid and his mother left him as a teen, leaving Will to figure out life alone. Refusing to let the same fate befall his four siblings, Will does everything he can to provide a stable life for them and raises them as his own. His job as a caretaker for Mrs. Joanna Beth Levesque allows him to put food on the table, most of the time, and unashamed trips to the food pantry do the rest.
Will tries to be grateful for what he has, never one to want more than what is actually obtainable. However, when Will meets Mr. di Angelo, a talented jeweler working for Mrs. Jo's profitable family business, he dares to hope for more.

Summary

Summary
One night, 16-year old Regulus Black shows up at James's and Sirius's flat looking rather worse for wear. He's clearly been through the ringer, and Sirius doesn't need Regulus to tell him who did this. Which is good, because Regulus can't talk. Or, he isn't, at least.
Sirius is willing to do anything to save his little brother. After all, it was his own selfish decision to leave that got Reg hurt in the first place. If that means binding himself to his brother like a dog on a bone, so be it. He'll never leave Regulus's side again.
Regulus isn't sure why he came here in the first place. He doesn't want help. He doesn't want Sirius. He wants to cave into the emptiness inside of him and disappear. But Regulus is just being a wimp, because Sirius had it so much worse. Sirius went through so much and came out on the other side just as shiny and bright as he went in. It's only Regulus who is broken. It's only Regulus who can't go on.

And then, Sirius seemed to realize. Because for a twelve-year-old, he was decently smart, and knew him better than anyone. “D’you…d’you want to do that, Reggie? I thought…I thought it was just a game?”
