“It’s just- well, the thing is-" he starts, and then cuts himself off with a frown. Minho gives him time to think, watches him take three deep breaths as he builds himself up to speak. Finally, he says, “I’m in love with you.”
Minho's entire body freezes. Whatever he had been expecting Jisung to say, that wasn’t it. He’s not entirely convinced he didn’t imagine it, that some long-buried part of him isn’t tricking him right now. He feels himself blinking, rapidly, and realises he’s just left Jisung hanging, shrinking into himself the longer Minho goes without saying anything.
“Jisung...” is all he manages to say.
Jisung's eyes flit up to Minho, “You don’t have to say anything,” he says quietly, barely more than a whisper, “I just wanted you to know.”
But there is so much Minho wants to say, and yet every word is caught in his throat. Since when? He wants to ask, I loved you years ago, why are you telling me this now? He wants to hug Jisung, hold his shaking hands and tell him it’s okay, that he loves him too, “I... I have a boyfriend,” he feels himself saying instead.
Jisung’s entire face falls like he’s just had a bucket of cold water thrown over him, “What?”

Jisung doesn’t spend any money on iced coffee today, because the shock he receives upon opening what he thought was his backpack to grab his laptop, only to instead find a pair of handcuffs, a ten ounce bottle of lube, and what he estimates to be a nine inch—very realistic looking—strap-on staring right back at him in the middle of his ten o’clock lecture, is enough to nearly make his heart give out.
Drinking any more caffeine after that would be overkill, or a quick trip to the emergency room.
Jisung accidentally takes Jeongin's bag of r-rated supplies to his morning lecture, crashes out for two weeks, jerks off way too much, and turns his intense, homoerotic, unspoken third thing with Jeongin into an official relationship.
