Sayaka never meant to go back. She just wanted to forget. When Homura reset, it was supposed to be over.
But she did go back, somehow, in more ways than one. She found the meek, defenceless girl who would become her friend, and Sayaka refused to leave her. So did that timeline’s Sayaka. Things may have gotten a bit out of hand since then, but between the growing swarm of time travellers and the nice people from out of town who know about spirits and magic, Sayaka is going to create a happy future for her friends, however many tries (and Sayakas) it takes.

Mami Tomoe is going to die in Charlotte's Labyrinth on a Tuesday in November.

A boy comes through the wall; loud and burning and completely without strategy, and the equation changes. He doesn't know what a Witch is. He doesn't know what a magical girl is. He saw someone in trouble and he was already running before he decided anything, which is either the bravest thing Mami has ever witnessed or the most reckless, and she is finding it increasingly difficult to determine which.
His name is Rin Okumura. He's an exorcist, sent to Mitakihara by a headmaster who is, as ever, not telling the whole story. The assignment is simple: investigate anomalous activity.
It is not simple.
Beneath the Witches, and the investigation, and the small white thing with empty eyes that has been quietly operating in this city for longer than anyone wants to calculate, something else is happening.
Two people are learning, slowly and with great difficulty, that being made of extraordinary things does not disqualify you from wanting ordinary ones.

Katsuki's first word that he ever says, before Mama and Daddy and die, is Deku.
"Where did you see Deku, honey?" Mitsuki asks, looking at the picture he drew. She can't tell much from the scribbles, but the green hair is apparent. As far as she remembers, none of Katsuki's friends have green hair. "One of your cartoons?"
"He's not fake," Katsuki scowls. "He's real."
"Is he from the playground, or from school?"
"No." But when pressed for more information, Katsuki only grows angrier. An imaginary friend, Mitsuki figures, and drops it at that. When he grows older and forgets about Deku, maybe she'll get a straight answer out of him.
Except that never happens. Katsuki never forgets Deku, and he never stops being real to him, because he has memories of him. Memories that don't match up with his current life.
