In a moment of anger, she stumbles upon a hidden letter in the book gifted to her by her father. Violet realizes that he was betrayed and killed to protect Navarre’s lies. Leadership is hiding something ruinous, and she is going to find out what it is, even if she has to become a rider to do it.

    This Violet is distrustful of leadership, questions everything told to her with extreme prejudice, and will do anything to survive. If not for her sake, then for the truth her father died for.
