    “Kid, stop,” Superman ordered, raising a hand as if that alone would be enough to halt him. Peter only shot another web in the opposite direction, pushing off hard with a frustrated huff.

    “Can’t do that, Mister Captain Briefs! There are grandmas out there depending on me!”

    Peter survives, but survival comes with a price. The city’s media tears him apart, arguing whether he is a hero who ended a nightmare or a villain born to terrorize Gotham. Headlines demand answers. Gotham demands a symbol it can either worship or destroy.

    As new enemies emerge from the shadows and uneasy allies step forward, somewhere beneath the city, a man who studies monsters decides that Peter is not a mistake, but a masterpiece waiting to be shaped.

    Caught between justice and exploitation, hope and fear, Peter must decide who he is in a city that refuses to see him as human, and whether surviving is enough when the world wants to define him as a monster.

    “Baby Bird?” Jason’s voice shifted, softened into something almost fragile, as if he were speaking to a child. Maybe, in his eyes, Tim was exactly that. The familiar nickname—so wrong, so tender—sent a tremor down Tim’s spine. Jason never called him that. Jason never spoke to him with warmth.

    Jason hated Tim.

    He shut his eyes tight, praying this was just a cruel dream. But then warm hands cupped his face, grounding him. A metallic clatter echoed through the cave, sharp and final. The gun had hit the floor.

    “No, no, no—don’t close those blue eyes, Baby Bird. Look at me,” this time Jason’s voice cracked into a plea. Every word trembled with fear, with a need that made Tim’s chest tighten painfully. Tim bit down on a sob, the taste of salt and blood filling his mouth, forcing himself to lift his gaze and meet the toxic green fire of Jason’s eyes once more. He could feel the tremor in Jason’s hands, the way his knees pressed into the cold floor, and it made his own body ache with tension.

    Or,

    Tim wakes up in Gotham, which looks too foreign, but he finds a home there.

    Tim Drake died at seventeen, his family long broken beyond repair.
    A Cuckoo finally rid from the nest.

    But when he wakes up in his time, just a year after the Graysons death and appearance of the first Robin.
    Tim wouldnt let his family suffer again, even if it meant he couldnt join them.

    Bruce Wayne is not "Brucie Wayne"
    Tim Drake is not "Timothy Drake"

    They are both personas, a front to prevent people from looking at whats really under the surface. But sooner or later Tim should have known Gotham being a city of secrets, nothing stays buried forever. Especially not when the bats get involved with their trashy next door neighbor whose behavior seems more and more contradictory.

    Tim had saved them all more times than he could count, maybe this time they could return the favor.

    Jason looks murderous. “God DAMN it, Tim, this was not the situation I had in mind when I generously taught you how to be a younger brother out of the kindness of my heart!”

    Even more shocked by this, Dick asks incredulously, “You, Jason Todd-Wayne, tried to give younger brother lessons? Where did you even get the audacity?”

    Jason rounds on him hotly. “Bitch, you wish you knew how to be a younger brother!”

    “FOCUS,” Tim demands. “We’ve got like, an hour to pull this off.”
