Summary
Julieta holds a lot of regret over what happened to her brother. She blames herself for trying to keep the peace rather than defend him more vocally. She did try to speak up for him though, just once, at 18 years old when she first felt him slipping away from her family.

Summary
Bruno didn't know what to expect when, at the tender age of five, he and his sisters had been granted magic. He couldn't begin to imagine how it would affect their family, how the magic would evolve as they grew.
In those early years, all he cared about was his family.
Ok, maybe that wasn't true. He cared about lots of things, like the way his gift would bring joy to the people of the Encanto, or the way his mother would smile at him when he regaled her with tales of his visions.
This fix explores when the Madrigal triplets first received their gifts and beyond. It will explore their family dynamics up to the events of the movie.
He cared when his sisters' gifts continued to grow, eventually overshadowing his own miraculous visions.
He cared when his mother stopped smiling at him.

Summary
Pedro survives the fall into the river. Lost and alone, he dedicates his life to finding his family. But when he finally reaches the Encanto, he realises that his troubles are only just beginning.
Pepa just wants a simple life: she wants to be happy, spend time with her brother and her sister. She wants to dance, and eat good food and fall in love. When her father turns up after fifteen years’ absence, things get a bit complicated. Things get even worse when Pepa is caught up in something she really shouldn’t be, and she learns that sometimes the best course of action is to come clean and trust that your family will catch you when you fall.
Or: the Pedro Lives AU, with teenage!triplets and a happy ending (because we only write happy endings here)
