But after a pretty bad fight with one of his friends everything starts to crash down on him, and it dawns on him that no amount of running will chase off his past.

On some nights, Cloud dreams of another world, one where Roche is well and whole and unharmed by Hojo. In those dreams—in that other world—Cloud and Roche dance around each other until they can dance no more.
