Summary
With summer break in gear, Sayaka and Madoka are given a task for their school assignment. Upon following their friend, Mami, they stumble to an unlikely business: A magical girl maid café! They are given an offer for a part time job by the owner, Kyubey. All of this seemed too good to be true! It indeed was too good to be true. With rampant business, rivaling cafes, and sweet summer angst our girls must navigate through life, friendships, and relationships. (Kyoko: UGH!)
This is a Maid Cafe Au my friend Howl and I made! We also had some help with a bit of editing by our other friends (it still won't be perfect, but we just want to have some fun!) We are so excited to introduce you to this! There is no magic in this au but the witches and Kyubey are human. We were both inspired by Demigoddesses' story And I'm Home.

"You're staying?"
"Yes." Avery answers with no hesitation.
"You won't leave?"
"No."
Derek's expression softens. Avery could see it in his eyes behind the shadow of his gold helmet.
Then, without warning, Derek steps forward and pulls Avery into a hug.
Avery stiffens instantly at the sudden contact, his cheek brushing gently against the cold surface of Derek's armor. His hands awkwardly remained on his sides— clueless on where to put them. He couldn't exactly relax under his embrace. Not when he didn't know what this hug actually meant.
"What's in your inventory?" Derek asks.
Avery is taken aback once more. "What?"
"What's in your inventory?"
And that's all it takes. A moment of distraction. A small blindspot— and a decisive motion as he shoved Avery backward.
From then, Avery's cry echoed. "Wait!"
And that was all that Derek remembered before everything went black. Or at least, that was the only part that truly mattered.
Or
Derek survives but now has to live with an ancient god within him.
It goes precisely the way it shouldn't.

Avery took a moment to catch his breath. He gently tugged on Derek's hand, guiding him to the soft, inviting grass nearby. As they settled down, Avery's slime body spread slightly, creating a comfortable cushion beneath them. He looked into Derek's eyes, silently inviting Derek to come closer.
Derek complied, his weight sinking into the earth next to Avery. The two of them fit together effortlessly. Avery wrapped his arms around Derek, pulling him in. They both exhaled in unison as they were overwhelmed with a drug-like happiness.
In that moment, it was just Avery and Derek.
“So…then…” Avery didn’t know where to start.
“Go on.” Derek encouraged.
“Do you love me, Derek?” Avery asked shyly.
Derek was amused by the question. His hand found Avery’s, and he squeezed it lovingly.
“I wouldn’t have made this world for you if I didn’t, Avery…”
OR
An after story with a corrupted D3rlord3 and a touch-starved Avery. The two find each other and try to replicate a life they could've had together in the King's domain.

Summary
The only thing that saved Avery from the nothingness in the church loop was Derek. But now Avery craved that nothingness, he needed it, had to go back. So Avery booted up the old computer and left for the church. Now with the capability to be stuck in the loop forever, planting flowers might be the last thing he’ll ever do. But then again maybe Avery was ok with that, Derek however is not.
