Summary
Out of the corner of his eye, he finally focuses on Nicholas. There’s blood splattered on his cheek, marring the alabaster canvas. Anyone else in his position would’ve taken cover, but Euijoo knows that Nicholas hadn’t. He stayed stubbornly still in front of the window even as projectiles flew inches away from his head.
No, he remains in front of the window, bullet holes and all, and stares right at Euijoo down the scope like he had just been handed god’s greatest gift.
His mouth quirks to the side, pleased.

Harua let out a childish, breathy laugh, resting his elbows on the table and his chin on his gloved hands. He looked at the giant with genuine amusement, finding the athlete’s anger and defensive posture the most adorable thing in the world.
— Forget you exist? — Harua repeated, leaning his slender body forward, encroaching on the table space — Why would I do that? You’re my favorite toy now, Maki-chan! I don't need your money and your role isn’t to negotiate with me… your role is to entertain me. You’re like a big, fierce stray dog I found in the street and now i just need to put the right leash on you.
Maki felt her blood boil, her jaw clenching so tightly that the muscles in her cheek trembled.
— Don't call me that, I'm not your pet — Maki spat the words, indignation emanating from every pore — You're a sick monster. I feel repulsed every second I spend breathing the same air as you.
