Summary

It’s a simple question, the kind people ask to break the ice, to start a conversation without thinking too hard about it. But what if Ricky doesn’t have an answer because he cannot see any?
For as long as he can remember, the world has been made of darkness and light. Black, white, and grey. A life lived in monochrome, where color exists everywhere except in his vision. He understands it in theory, memorizes it, learns its rules and metaphors—but knowing has never been the same as seeing. No matter how well he understands it, color has always remained something he cannot truly grasp.
Once, he was called a defect. Someone different. Someone not quite normal. All Ricky has ever wanted was to fit in—but belonging is difficult in a world he cannot fully understand, a world that has never quite understood him in return.
But what if color isn’t only something you see?
What if emotions carry hues of their own. What if, one day, he sees blue—and realizes that change is possible. That opening himself up to the world might also open his heart, and in doing so, slowly color everything he sees.

‘Kay.” And then it’s like he’s lost in his own little world. Gyuvin sits back up and just watches him, soft and delicate hands pressing foundation onto his skin with a cushion. He’s beautiful, and Gyuvin loves him so much. So much so that he’ll sit through whatever limbo he’s stuck in because he himself is too selfish to ever let Ricky go.
Ricky and Gyuvin have been broken up for three weeks yet somehow, find themselves falling back into bed with each other. Things are maybe a little too complicated, for no reason at all.
