    Izuku stood in the middle of a street he didn’t know. Ten feet in front of him rests an eighteen wheeler truck. By the green light, and the speed limit sign, this truck could easily turn him into a smear on the windshield. But it couldn’t, because it was frozen. Everything was frozen. 
    Everything except Izuku.
    “COME ON!” He screeched at the sky. “DO IT!” Izuku was begging. Tears streamed down his face, a river of sorrow, his arms spread wide beside him. “DO IT!” He cried again. “I FUCKING DARE YOU!” 
    But nothing happened. 
    Nothing happened; the truck never moved, the sky didn’t move, the birds didn’t fall from the sky, and time never moved forward.

    OR: Izuku's time quirk manifests extremely late, and he is frozen in time, alone, for far too long. Can he find his way a home he needs, but doesn't think he deserves?

And at the little sliver of Klein’s childhood that had missed praying publicly to the Goddess, which Zhou had needed to hide away to keep Benson, Melissa, and himself safe while on the run from 0-08 and Ince Zangwill.

    “I ask that even though I cannot make a ritual altar for you, I pray you hear me out regardless. I have nowhere else to turn, and with no allies I can contact I will likely die or worse at the hands of MI9 within the next few days. Please…” His voice, even with the Clown Potion helping him keep the worst of his emotions locked behind his perfect mask, still cracked minutely. He coughed. “Help my allies find me..."

    “Praise the Lady,” he intoned after a moment of silence, his fingers instinctively tapping out the Crimson Moon on his chest.

    Atypical Cat Catching fic where MI9 captures Klein at the end of Volume 3 and Klein begs the Goddess to save him when all else fails. Then the Goddess does a little too good of a job trying to keep "Her" cat in "Her" clutches.
