Sae realizes he’s said it out loud a little too late. Shidou glances up in surprise, and well, it’s already done, it’s not like Sae is going to take it back now that it's out there.
"You gotta be more specific, Sae-chan. There's an awful lot I'm wearing that could be taken off."
"Those." Sae says and gestures unhelpfully. Shidou just raises his eyebrows. Sae grimaces. "Your contacts."
It’s obviously not the answer Shidou was expecting, but the phone gets put down and he turns to face Sae, paying him full attention now.
"Okay, okay, I will." He nods, looking more alert than before. "If you do something for me too."

Or, Sae has a curiosity (and can't ask for attention like a normal person). Shidou plays along.

Summary
Isagi and his stupid, crazy, insane eyes that see right through him like he’s a glass house. They're the ocean at the drop of a cliff ledge: Dangerous. Beckoning. Fatal. Rin wants to kill him, or something—destroy Isagi before he can destroy Rin. Not that Isagi ever could, of course.

After suffering a grueling defeat on the national stage, Itoshi Rin enters the off-season plagued with bloodlust—the next time he faces his long-standing rival on the pitch, Isagi Yoichi, he promises to devour him whole.
That was the plan, at least, but their reunion arrives much sooner. When he and Isagi Yoichi cross paths again, it’s at the Wellness Studio he does yoga classes at. Without the distance of the game between them, Rin realizes how thin the line between love and hate really is.

Summary

He lifted a hand to his cheek. The reflection mimicked him. He flexed his fingers. The reflection flexed. His stomach lurched.

He was looking at Shidou Ryuusei.

Nanase didn’t respond immediately. He crossed his own arms, his brow furrowing. “I think,” he eventually said slowly, “Rin likes someone.”
Silence permeated the room. The low whir of the computer fans and the squeak of the office chairs were the only noises punctuating the quiet. Everyone looked at each other. Faces ranged from confused to unconvinced.
“You’re not serious, are you?” asked Chigiri.
“Is that even possible?” puzzled Isagi.

First year student Nanase Nijiro has noticed that his classmate Itoshi Rin might have a crush on someone. Who that someone could be is a complete mystery. Asking about it directly would be a sure-fire, one-way trip to the pearly gates. But Rin is so antisocial and bad at communication that in his current state he stands no chance of getting with this mysterious other person, and so Nanase takes it upon himself to figure out who they are in order to become the best wingman in the school.
