Summary
Izuku and Katsuki would have to stay separate from Kachan and Deku. Kachan and Deku would be all that the outside world got to see. Kachan was an egotistical bully with a superiority complex that burned as bright as the sun. Deku was a quirkless boy who ddin’t believe in limits and would do anything to help or please others, even if it meant his own destruction. Kachan and Deku were characters played by two boys who were scared for each other. Kachan and Deku were the products of a broken and corrupted society. Izuku and Katsuki, though, were two halves of a whole that never wanted to be apart again that could only exist out of the public eye.
So they acted.
No matter how much it hurt, no matter what they had to say to each other, they played their roles perfectly.
OR: Izuku and Katsuki reconciled when they were young but continued to put up the fronts of Kachan and Deku to keep themselves safe. They can't act forever, though.

"Kacchan?" Izuku's brow furrowed in concern.
A slow, faint smile spread across Katsuki's face. "Sup?”
