Summary
After being fired from the Lotus Pier police department for becoming overly involved in a case against the Wen crime family, Wei Ying moves to a small town he visited in his youth to raise his new adopted son, A-Yuan. There he reconnects with the seemingly cold and aloof Lan Zhan who he had always admired. When the two discover a murder plot which shakes the community to their core, they realize they need to work together to bring peace back to area.

Summary

“Your designs are also pretty.” Lan Zhan adds.
“I feel like I did you a disservice, Lan Zhan,” Wei Ying grins. “I can wax poetics on your use of draping to accent the body if you want. I’ve kept all my praises to myself for far too long.”
“Please don’t.”
Or, Lan Zhan and Wei Ying are the head designers of Nuage. One does haute couture, the other does ready-to-wear. They fall in love. Chaos ensues.

That was until he met Lan Wangji, a stubborn and cold gentleman. Through their meeting and continuous arguments - they become close. Just as this budding friendship seems to solve Wei Wuxian's current problems, his life starts intertwining more and more with Lan Wangji's.
