Summary
The Others have been defeated, and Jon Snow can finally set aside duty for the shattered remnants of his family.
Then he wakes in the Vale as seven-year-old Jon Redfort, fifteen years before the Dance, with a twin brother who looks like Daenerys and also remembers a different life.
(Or: A study in Daemon Targaryen becoming increasingly feral about the two bastard sons he didn’t know he had.)
(Or: Jon has two dads, and one is his twin brother who is five years younger than him. This makes sense, I swear.)

Summary
His Majesty's Aerial Corps holds many secrets, but none are more closely guarded than the Plague and the Change. A century ago, amidst the War of the Spanish Succession, disease ravaged the British Isles, bringing about the death of a majority of dragons—a tragedy of the highest order kept hidden from the public eye. Even those that survived were left unable to fight or breed new offspring. After the Plague, all that was left to carry forward to future generations were the surviving eggs yet unhatched and a single healthy formation kept away in isolation. But these were insufficient in number to make a sustainable population, and besides, there was the more urgent problem that England was still at war and still needed her dragons. The alchemist Sir Issac Newton approached the Corps, however, and proposed a solution, one that won them the war and one that is still carried forward to this day: the Change. Dragons need not be hatched, when they can be made.
Captain Will Laurence, of His Majesty's Navy, knows none of this when the hatchling Temeraire chooses him as his companion. But to Loch Laggan they have been sent, and to Loch Laggan they must go, unaware that some people go there not to train, but to become dragons.

Summary
When the crew of the Reliant captures the Amitie and the dragon egg it carries, Captain Will Laurence is set ill-at-ease—not because he is unfamiliar with dragons, but rather the opposite. For, over a decade ago following an injury aboard the Shorewise, he discovered he bore a curse, one that would cause him to awake from his dreams as something other than human, if ever his attentiveness slipped. He was a weredragon.
But then the hatchling Temeraire chooses him as his Captain, and the course of his life is forever altered, to become an aviator of His Majesty's Aerial Corps...at least by day. By night, the question of his nature remains quite up in the air.

Summary
Later that night Sam doesn't pray. He hasn't prayed in a long time. Not from lack of faith, he's still devout as he ever was, Sam being Sam hes still desperate to latch onto whatever is above him and pray to it (It had been his father, his brother and then God who earnt Sams devotion in turn) and he would love to scramble to his knees and give himself over to something bigger, but its hard when holy words burn his tongue.
These days he can barely say father without his throat seizing.
Or,
Dean finds Sam in a confessional, nothing good comes of it.Bookmarked by SleepWalker09
