    "Damian? Is everything alright?" Bruce asks, brow burrowing in concern. To say Damian dislikes physical contact would be a lie, but he is not usually so outwardly seeking of it.
    "Yes, Father." Damian nods. "I am simply practicing the act of hugging."
    It takes Bruce a moment to absorb that, parse out the meaning from his child's very serious tone - but once he does, he chuckles, smiling down at Damian.
    "Practicing hugging, hmm?" He asks.

    Bruce’s head lolled slightly to the side, gaze dragging over Clark’s face like he was trying to memorize every detail. Then he smirked—or at least, attempted to, but it mostly looked sleepy. “Like, unfairly pretty. Like, if I weren’t married, I’d be in trouble.”

    Or, after another close call, Bruce wakes up from anaesthesia ready to win Clark's heart and spill family secrets.

    Bruce Wayne has many children. Bruce Wayne does not have many children who call him 'dad' regularly, and he understands. He was not the first father figure for most of his children, but he's happy to fill in for them now. However, the rarity with which he hears the word just makes it that much sweeter when he does.

    Or: 6 times Bruce's kids call him dad, and 1 time he calls them his children
