Kazui leaned against his steering wheel, trying to get his head to straighten out. He shouldn't have drank so much. He should have drank more. Either option offered its own problems, and it wasn't like he needed any more of those right now. At least if he'd pushed harder, maybe they'd both be too intoxicated to remember any of this in the morning. Maybe it would have been easier too pass off as a joke, maybe that sorry excuse might have actually been believable. Maybe he could crash on the way home, and he wouldn't have to blame himself for abandoning Hinako in such a selfish way. As it was, he was barely more than buzzed, and he remembered quite well.
