You had us worried when you passed out.” The guy in green said and crushed Tommy in a hug. Ok, thats fucking weird. He pushed away from the guy. He looked a lot like Tubbo. He has small horns poking out from his fluffy brown hair that covers half his face, a huge grin spread across his face.

Tommy wants to laugh. How far has he fallen in order to be talked down by a hero? A hero who had hated his guts less than two months ago at that. He stares upon the grey city, a place that could never be his home, and sighs. “I’m not going to jump.”
“Then step away.”
Tommy doesn’t move.

Summary
It's hard, looking in the mirror every morning and seeing the person you've failed to be. The eyes and stature of a hero, someone who saves lives when everyone else leaves them to die. The type of person who is brave in the face of danger and calm in the middle of a storm.
He is none of those things and yet he becomes one of the top heroes, wings of bright vermillion catching the eyes of many and he's proud. Not because of who he had become, but rather how easily he can keep up this act.
Well, it used to be easy.
Now he is nothing but a dead man dealing with the repercussions of his actions. The weight of his friends' damning choices rest on his shoulders and all he wants to do is rest, but there are villains out there...
And Tommy is a hero, for better or for worse.

Tommy was handed a small flyer in printed in black and white, with the words “POETRY NIGHT - OPEN MIC” splayed across the front in bubbled font. He fumbled with his binder as he took it, eyes wide as he said, “are you sure? I mean, I love poetry and all, but I don’t think-I’m not sure—what if I can’t write poetry?”
Mr. Sam’s dark eyes softened, and he reached out to place a hand on Tommy’s shoulder, squeezing it gently. “Everyone has to start somewhere; every poet, from me to Rudy Francisco, started off without knowing a clue about what we were doing. Tommy, it’s not about if you can or cannot write poetry, it’s about if you want to.”

Summary
"Tommyinnit was many things.
He was a hero, a martyr, a scapegoat, a 'child', a solider, a menace.
He was also very fucking tired.
The fight in Las Nevadas between his newly revived brother and his former good friend bought back buried memories, and Tommy resolved to just walk away from it when his ears started to ring.He never expected to collapse against a tree and wake up with Dream's fucking face hovering over him.
He never catches a break, huh?
TL:DR, Tommyinnit crashes through realities and wakes up somewhere entirely different, with the face of his enemy being his first greeting into the world.
