    Peter can readily admit that, in life, he’s not really sure what route he wants to take. This means that, for now, he can reasonably say that he’s more or less driving blind.

    But that’s completely and utterly besides the point. The more relevant issue is that he’s currently strapped in a car with someone who is literally driving blind.

    “Matt… Matt, MATT - TURN LEFT TURN LEFT TURN LEFT TURN LEFT”

    or

    Peter overhears some gang members plotting to go after Matt because of an upcoming trial, so, obviously, Peter goes to give his fellow vigilante a hand. There's just one teeny weeny, itty bitty, inconspicuous little problem.

    Peter was absolutely not prepared to deal with the fact that Matt is certifiably insane.

    While living on Dragon’s Edge with the Riders, Hiccup hits his head on a regular mission. He wakes up, an amnesiac, with no memories from the past three years, not since the week before he shot down Toothless.

    To him, the Riders are nothing more than childhood bullies, the war with the dragons is still ongoing, and as far as he knows, he should still have two legs.

    To the Riders, Hiccup is their leader and best friend, lost unless they can bring him back.

    This fic was such a delightful read and a wonderful character study of not just Hiccup, but all of the Riders; it captures everyone's voice so accurately, making it feel like it could easily be a canon episode or arc. It has the perfect balance of humor, wholesomeness, and sprinkles of angst, and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves these characters and the HTTYD world.

    Dick grew up watching Bruce take countless woman to bed for the sake of the mission, and to get what he needed from different people. He watched, and he learned.

    And maybe he doesn't feel the same things the people around him feel, maybe he doesn't really like sex, but it doesn't really matter. Because if sex makes people happy, then why does his opinion on everything matter? It's not their fault he's broken.
