Summary
As you've probably guessed this is a The King And I fanfiction and I'm not really sure what to put in here. I suggest if you haven't seen the film or the show yet, you go watch it and /then/ read this because you might not understand the story or you could (very definitely) be spoiled and nobody wants that. Hopefully the story is better than the summary which isn't even a real summary because I didn't really explain anything oh well.

A crash came from the kitchen as a small boy on the cusp of being a teenager dropped the plate he’d been drying. Wide, green eyes rested on the small television his uncle and cousin were glued to, the picture of the gaunt man hauntingly familiar.
Even as his uncle and aunt rounded on him to scream about the plate, the boy only uttered a soft whisper.
