“Have you ever felt that though? Not with Jonathan or Steve, just that feeling. The fluttery, on top of the world, I would do anything for you feeling?” Robin said, leaning forward, encroaching ever so slightly into Nancy’s space.
She looked up at Robin again. Let her eyes trace the curve of Robin’s neck, dart from freckle to freckle lining her cheeks, only stopping to land on the other girl's lips. Cracked from being picked at like her own. Only then, did she nod her head.

Summary
Natalie was sure this had to go against some odd rule in the games about not distracting other contestants unnecessarily.
She looked gorgeous, Natalie had never seen her show so much skin, especially inside the games. If she wasn’t so stunned maybe she would see it as a weakness she could use to her advantage, but right now in the annoyingly fluorescent dropship lighting, all she could think about is how amazing her friend looked.
She was fucked.

Natalie can’t help but lose her focus admiring the skirmisher, and Renee won’t shy away from an opportunity.

Summary
Joyce and Hopper get married in the brilliant heat of July. The sun shines down upon the beachside venue. A beautiful arch covered in lilies sits off in the distance, the sea lapping up on the shore behind it. Nancy watches the glimmers atop the waves as they roll in and drift out. Listens to the sounds of the wedding guests milling about the beach house that would become a reception hall after the ceremony. It’s lovely. The whole scene is lovely.
A body eclipses the view, but Nancy sees who it is. The view is still lovely.
“I missed you!” Robin says, pulling— yanking— Nancy into a crushing hug.
Nancy grins, her smile hiding in the mess of Robin’s hair. “Missed you, too.”

Summary
Natalie was always sensitive to sensations of all kinds. Sounds and textile feelings, especially. Constant, low white noise helped keep her centered and focused. The feeling of soft things, a gentle brush of nerves through the skin, relaxed her.
She loved being able to sense the world, for both the good and bad, it was a privilege she wouldn’t have any other way, even if at times it could be hard.
