Summary
Russel, a reserved day-dreamer between jobs who is most definitely human, finds himself awakening in a body that is distinctly not one.
Despite seemingly carrying all his memories, there is no recollection for how such an impossibility came to be, nor does he recognize the world he's awoken to: A place of danger and survival, where civilization has to be carved out of the past against the odds.
After a chance encounter with a figure claiming they are both Pokémon, the pair set off on a haphazard journey for answers, despite not knowing both have deeper connections to the danger growing darker on the horizon.This story is written in a way that is accessible to those unfamiliar with Pokémon and may contain darker themes.
