Summary
Name Day's eyes crack open and he coughs, blood dribbling down his chin as they slide over towards Creius, "Av… Avgust…"
"Is safe," Creius reassures, "he's not hurt."
"Good," Name Day murmurs, and then coughs again, spitting up even more blood, "hurts…"

When Name Day is nearly killed in a seemingly random attack, Creius finds that it's his turn to sit in the chair and aid the man he loves with his recovery, no matter how hard it gets.

Summary
He knows Creius feels similarly, even if he isn't as open with his feelings, but Name Day has come to learn to read him, and respect the space he asks for when it comes to the emotions he feels. He sits and offers, but leaves it up to Creius to accept the guidance and love he is more than willing to give. In the beginning, he was often refused, but now, after everything, the answer is more often yes than no, and it warms Name Day's heart to be one of Creius' trusted people.

Ichikawa had laughed a bit – eighteen and newly dating Narumi at that point – when he'd figured out that Narumi actually really liked watching the sunset. It had been for Ichikawa, alright, Narumi had simply thought his pretty boyfriend would like watching the sun set over the bay because he liked nature and shit and he'd never been to the ocean before Narumi had taken him!
Of course Ichikawa had noticed that as much as Narumi had been staring at his boyfriend in the redgold, he'd been watching the sun over the water with a sense of quiet distraction that Ichikawa had never seen out of him before.
He'd never been good at lying to Ichikawa, even back then, because he hadn't denied it.
