Summary

— The Mighty Nein's rocket to fame involves more drama, mystery, abuse, sex, drugs, and rock n’ roll than any columnist can resist, but media accounts until now have been mostly secondhand. Tabloids and vultures run with the facts in the opposite direction, smearing half-truths and outrageous accusations onto any blank space, taking silence for admission.
It definitely doesn’t help that Thelyss admitted to stealing the Mouthpiece of the Luxon on national telellusion.

Summary
The doctor hooked the cane over his arm and shifted his weight onto his left leg as he took the clipboard and pen in hand. “Thank you, eh…” His eyes danced around Jayce’s body looking for a name tag as he handed the form back, “Mr. Talis.” Stuck in the vice grip of two strikingly bright, amber eyes, Jayce realized this was the first time the doctor had actually looked at him.
“Yeah, no problem.” He swallowed down the temptation to call the doctor a jerk-fuck asshole and briskly left, his blood boiling the whole way out. Signed across the bottom of his papers in perfect cursive was the name of Jayce’s new nemesis.

Summary
Five years ago, Jayce made an impulsive offer to build Hextech weapons to combat the rising tide of Undercity airship piracy. In response, Viktor torched their research and disappeared from Piltover for good.
Five years ago, a new airship took to the skies, with a young captain and a misfit crew and a massive, impossible tree growing straight through the hull.
These two events are completely unrelated - unless, of course, they're not.
Jayce steps into Viktor's space. His fist closes in the lapel of Viktor's overcoat. It's a little foolish, but he half-expects this whole thing to be some kind of hallucination. Something at the back of his brain imagines his hand will pass through Viktor like mist. It doesn't, and that, more than anything, makes this feel like more than a hypervivid variation on the same dream Jayce has been having for years now.
In his dreams, Viktor always has the clammy chill of a cadaver. This Viktor feels so warm under Jayce's hand, he thinks his skin might come away scalded.Bookmarked by Sign138
