Mystery Child Spotted in Bruce Wayne's Car

Dick couldn’t handle Gotham City paparazzi. He could hardly handle him and Alfred. God, the things that came out when The Flying Graysons fell were just as brutal as the media that came out when his parents were gunned down. They would tear Dick to shreds if they knew Bruce had taken him in. They would drag up his parents' death and make a mockery of it. They would destroy—

Bruce goes through the daunting ordeal of introducing his ward to the public eye of Gotham City.

In which there are Stink ‘Bots, coffee stains, wardrobe malfunctions (no, not like that), Tony’s sense of humor is adolescent (yup, exactly like that), reporters show no mercy when it comes to superheroes and their vices - and sometimes even super soldiers need Band-Aids and hugs. Also, bacon is the ultimate deus ex machina, and you can’t go wrong with The Princess Bride for therapy.

    Summary

"Andrew’s arm slides around Neil’s waist, slow enough that Neil could stop him if he wanted to. He doesn’t. He lets Andrew pull him in against his chest, one arm tight around him, solid and unyielding. Protective, though against what, Neil isn’t sure.

The heat of Andrew’s body sinks into him almost immediately, thawing some of the chill lodged deep in his bones. Neil hadn’t realized just how cold he was until now. He curls closer without thinking about it.

Andrew’s hand spreads flat against his side, slipping under his shirt carefully. “You’re freezing,” he mutters after a minute.

“It’s just cold in here.” Neil closes his eyes and adds, “But you’re warm.”

Andrew makes a quiet, irritated sound at that, but he doesn’t let go. Neil lets himself sink into the warmth instead of thinking about the blood or the pain or the way his body feels increasingly foreign to him. He focuses on Andrew’s heartbeat beneath his cheek. The steady rise and fall of his breathing. Eventually, Andrew’s grip tightens almost imperceptibly around him, like he’s afraid Neil might disappear if he loosens it too much."

    OR

Neil isn't feeling well, but he's fine. Totally fine. Nothing to worry about here!

    Summary

Andrew reached forward, letting his hand peak through the sleeve of his oversized sweatshirt, and looped the errant curl. Neil leaned into the movement, even before Andrew was using it to yank Neil closer.

Neil paused and looked up at Andrew, assessing again. Neil knew what Andrew was after. It was usually one of their safe touches these days – along with hand-holding and hair playing – but Neil would never have thought to ask here.

    Andrew nodded.

Incrementally, Neil gave himself to Andrew, loose and completely, letting his head fall onto the blonde's shoulder - his whole weight into the crook of Andrew's neck.

    ---

A sort of 5+1 where Andrew helps Neil fall asleep five time and one time Neil returns the favour.

Featuring the foxes being their totally nonchalant selves and lots and lots of cuddles :)

    Summary

The first migraine happened on a Thursday.
Remus remembered that later because Thursdays were usually good days.
Teddy had football after school on Thursdays. He came home loud and grass-stained and starving, talking so fast he tripped over half his words. Thursdays meant pasta because it was cheap and filling and easy to make while supervising spelling homework.
    Normal.
    Ordinary.
