Summary
There are times when Daichi loves his sense of responsibility. He likes that he’s dependable. He likes that he’s consistent. He likes that people trust him enough to follow him onto a volleyball court, and he’s proud of the little team they’ve made here at Karasuno, the raw passion they’ve managed to mold together into a formidable competitor. Daichi loves being volleyball captain.
But there are times, other times, when Daichi hates that people rely on him. Times like these, when Tanaka comes into the communal showers asking Daichi if he knows where Sugawara is — an innocent enough inquiry — and Daichi has to somehow unsuspiciously answer the question while not giving away that he is, in fact, currently balls-deep in said vice captain.
(Starts off pretty rough/dirty and then is just mushy fluffy goodness by the end. It's good, trust me on this.)

Hunkering down in his office, slipping his work shirt up just enough that the fading dark marks on his hip from their last romp were visible, Daichi had blushed a little taking the photo of his defined torso. He’d blushed a lot taking the next photo, where his slacks had slid down, one hand pulling at the waistband of his boxers to show the flushed, leaking head of his erection.
He’d sent the photos with a simple “thinking of you,” text, knowing Suga wouldn’t see them until he was out of his afternoon meetings, knowing what it would do to him to see Daichi exposing himself at work.

Suga can feel it on his face that he’s grinning back, and when he sits up, too, his head spins for a moment. He places a hand on Daichi’s knee to steady himself. His lip quirks when he notes, just shy of teasingly, “It’s usually just us, Daichi.”
The thing about falling in love with your best friend is that it happens so slow.
