What the Paladin doesn’t know is that there is a woman waiting to wake from her cryogenic slumber. A woman who will change his life for the better and for the worse.

Summary
In the wake of the events at Listening Post Bravo, Sole Survivor Jacqueline struggles with the consequences of her choices. Haunted by shame and the fear that she is now irreparably broken, she braces for the truth she's tried to bury. Meanwhile, Danse is prepared to let the Commonwealth burn as retribution for a burden he was not asked to carry.
Forced to confront the growing divide between the ideals they swore to uphold and the reality of what the Brotherhood has become, both survivors navigate trauma, guilt, and a love they've been to stubborn to acknowledge. In the end, they must decide how much of themselves they are willing to sacrifice before there is nothing left worth saving and come to terms with the devastating reality that some wounds may never fully heal.
This is a re-"authoring" of my original fic Sacrifices.

Along the way, Brennen learns much about raiders and their culture, gets to spend nights at different raider camps, then returns the culture shock favor to Raze when he takes the raider into a large town for the night.
As they travel, the two become close and Brennen learns a lot, not only about raiders and their culture, but about himself.
Preconceived notions will be shattered and a tight bond will be formed between the two as they journey together through the wasteland.
