Summary
Obi-Wan took a deep breath and grasped his lightsaber a little tighter, please hurry up, Anakin.
He wasn’t going to last very long– the Force was becoming duller, like a distant memory, with each minute he had used against the droids already. Not to mention, the sharp stabbing pain behind his forehead reminded him he really needed to lie down soon.
“Please just– hurry.” Obi-Wan murmured into his comlink, steeled himself, and turned around ready to face the onslaught of droids marching in unison toward his position.
He couldn’t out run them– wouldn’t– so he turned toward them and fought.
(Or, Obi-Wan, sick with the flu, is cornered by hundreds of droids. Cody and Anakin come to his rescue, but there is unresolved tension between them.)
