I do a bit of exploring on theoretical methods of robo recovery (nanites are cringe, save the micro scale healing for the biological organisms, give me bone/battery inspired macro scale healing!)
on brief (hopefully) hiatus since assumstions made were incorrect (the keepers all look different actually, all the dead ones are past keepers of the eye. and ati is just also built for low gravity environments.) so I might make some changes before i start working on new chapters

Summary
The Pale King reconsiders his plan to stop the Radiance after a particularly worrisome vision. He decides on a change of plans that would surely stop the Higher Being's advance, though it might create another enemy entirely. Thankfully, the Nightmare Heart's vessel is understanding of his situation, and so he accepts his deal. Now, the Pale King is again forced to commit despicable acts, even worse than the killing of the failed vessels, but there's no cost too great for the survival of his eternal Kingdom.
