“I dunno,” Zoro responds absentmindedly. Luffy presumes that Zoro probably didn’t actually hear what Luffy asked. That’s the thing about Zoro, whether he gets it — he’s all ears for Luffy.
Or: People seem to know a lot more about Luffy than they let on.

Luffy grinned back at Zoro.

He brought her into the kitchen and sat her near the fire and kept pouring the cold water on the burn. The problem was that it was a large burn, taking up all of the side of her wrist and forearm, and some threads from her sleeves were stuck near the elbow. You can do everything right ninety nine point nine percent of the time, but repetition breeds both expertise and risk.
