Finished reading 1st & 2nd, waiting on the 3rd.
This is everything I love about taking a character generally unliked and creating a story around them without making them conventionally likeable <3 Paul is a simp and I lov eit, he also doesn't show up until new moon. The dialogue really pops off in new moon too, fun seeing the growth in character too. -

"I remember the darkness. It was only supposed to be for a moment, just a small break. A short nap in between jobs. Nothing more. Just a second. The pain came seconds later. It was everywhere, all encompassing. Then, nothing else. Just darkness. It was like swimming through oil. Before I woke up, it was all just darkness. When I did, I was somewhere else and someone else entirely."
Death was supposed to be the end. The end of her and her rest. She believed that. At least partially.
And not unlike before, she really couldn't seem to die. But unlike before, her survival was not her choice. This was out of her hands. Now... Sierra Logan was not Sierra Logan. She was supposed to be Anika Durran because she was in the girl's body. In another world that was... too entirely familiar.
She didn't expect to die. She didn't expect to be forced into someone else' body. She didn't expect to form connections like the ones she forged. She wanted to go home, but if she couldn't then she would survive until her final breath.

OC insert into Bodhi's younger sister's body who is 1 year behind Violet.
Plot is faithful to the books, only small changes, seems mostly character driven.
Aaric feels a little OOC to me but still enjoyable.
Andrea's dragon is a brown dragon (Issr) who is male and mates with Mira S's dragon (who is also male - we got one!).
Andrea has not gotten her signet yet, I am assuming it will have something to do with music.
End with Lilith S (V's mom) dying to get the ward stone going at Basgaith. V hate's Andrea now but will probs chill out once she get's it out of er system. -

Series, covers season 1 up to leaving CDC.
More people live in this, Merle keeps his hands and stays with the group. We STILL don't know what happened on the roof which is causing a lot of tension, like Daryl giving Merle the silent treatment, Merle showing some actual genuine care towards others, and Daryl being a lot more focus on MC. D did see MC have a split second of weakness in longing for an easy out so there will probs be tension surrounding that. Dr. Jenner is coming with, MC is not infected we don't know about immunity yet. Amy and Andrea both lived (i think?). Shane has latched onto MC and is showing early warning signs of obsession similar to with Lori in the show, maybe because Rick know sbout him and Lori earlier on Shane didn't have all the chances like he did in the show to screw around with Lori so he is switching targets. They cleared out all the resources they could find from the CDC before leaving. They are on their way to the "old folks home" - hoping we learn more about the roo D: -

Summary
Basgiath cadet Fenryn Zynd can mend in a way no one else can - by transferring the injuries sustained by riders (and their dragons) onto/into her own body before mending herself.
She's hidden in plain sight until her dragon flies her straight to the Battle of Resson. Unable to allow Liam to die, she intervenes. After saving Liam by mending Deigh, she's thrust into the world of the Revolution while uncovering the secrets of her own past and coming to terms with the power of her signet.
The story follows Fenryn from the Battle of Resson at the end of Fourth Wing, following Iron Flame and soon Onyx Storm (so contains multiple spoilers!).
Has a mild why choose arc with Bodhi and Liam, but main love story is slow burn.
Iron Flame ends at chapter 70. Chapter 71 onwards is Onyx Storm.
