This isn't his fault, okay? It just happened.
Shizusumi finds it a bit hard to believe, considering Hiiragi's hallway is splattered with blood and the man's face is caved in almost completely, but Uenoyama seems to agree.
"Fucking hell," Uenoyama whispered, somewhere between horrified and regretful, and Shizusumi dumbly nodded in agreement.
Hiiragi was standing there, blood staining his hands and clothes and skin and a broken vase held in his hands, a wild, scared look in his eye.
And a dead body at his feet.
(Or, in which, Uenoyama and Shizusumi make a house call, and catch Hiiragi red-handed—quite literally.)
