Summary
Crop circles have been apart of Earth's history for a very long time. There was always an explanation given when the intricate designs appeared, but no one could have expected the real reason behind them. On the night that the crop circles returned, a mass abduction of people occurred in locations all around the world nearest the crop circles. The International Space Station reported alien vessels that would not answer their hails. The people of Earth were horrified.

Summary
Merlin had failed. Despite all his efforts, Arthur had ended up dead in his arms on the shores of Avalon, so close to salvation. Summary
Julian's heart pounded. Garak's eyes searched his face, and then his lips parted and a rumble emerged.
His eyes were too wild, too unfocused. His weight pressed Julian into the hard ground, and Julian felt every sharp edge of rock beneath his shoulder blades, his spine. A piece of gravel bit into his hip, and when he shifted to ease the pressure, Garak's grip tightened. A low sound built in his chest—a primal growl Julian had never heard from him before.
Oh God, Julian thought, his pulse thundering in his ears. What have I done?
The DS9 crew crash-lands on a planetoid that has a strange effect on Garak, reverting him back to a feral state. Thankfully, after all their holosuite hunts, Julian knows what to do.
... Julian hopes he knows what to do.

It took Spock twenty-three point six two nine seconds to realise he was in love with Jim Kirk despite the fact that he could never act upon this desire. It however took him a year, three months, nineteen days and twenty hours to realise he held the same feelings for McCoy. This came as a surprise to Spock. What did not come as a surprise to him was the inflow of genuine irritation that followed this realisation- Leonard simply had that effect on him.
Or: Jim and McCoy are in a relationship, trying to charm Spock into joining them. The Vulcan remains particularly stubborn in interpreting their advances as friendship.
