Ages before the Great Battle, the CLans' truly greatest battle yet is unfolding. RiverClan has turned against all the others, and ThunderClan is on the brink of extinction. The aftermath of the battle left ThunderClan reeling. With Jayfeather worn to the bone and Lionblaze traumatised, Dovewing knew she could not, would not allow history to repeat itself. Her children would not be broken by her actions.
Canon-divergent, I suppose, after The Last Hope. I haven't read the new series and I don't plan to.
