Hannibal is sold out by Chiyoh to a man that she believes will keep Hannibal away from society and harming anyone else.
Of course she was right. She just did not know to what extent.
Hannibal wakes to being Viktor's captive. He does not realize there are those out in the world with sharper teeth.
Viktor has patience that comes from the long life he has lived and the types of things he has done in that long life. Whether he has to take Hannibal's submission by force he has no issue with that or if Hannibal realizes just the kind of monster he is dealing with and submits willingly.
